Yardi Online Technical Training Sessions

Yardi is hosting a series of online technical training sessions for the Middle East. As a Yardi client, you are invited to participate in our training sessions to help you gain advanced technical knowledge of Voyager, learn the latest technical tips, provide feedback and interact with the Yardi team directly. All training sessions will be held online, at UAE local time and in English language. Attendees will get a 15-minute break during all 4-hour sessions.
The cost for this training course is $1,500 (USD) for a maximum of 3 attendees per client company.

Voyager Security, User Management and Custom Tables

The emphasis of this virtual training will be the system administration portion of the software.
The session starts out with training on Voyager security, creating users, groups, menus and assigning permissions.
Additionally, we cover button setup, custom tables and basics on critical date and field value notifications.

System Administration: Accounts and Options

Participants in this session will learn the basic settings available in Accounts and Options. This will also cover some important environmental configurations, roles and attributes.

Database Schema: Core, Master and Leasing Tables

During this session, participants will learn Voyager database schema related to core set up, commercial/residential master and leasing related tables.

Database Schema: Transactions Related Tables

During this session, participants will learn Voyager database schema related to transactions tables and the relation between different tables.

Standard, Scripting and Adhoc Reports

This session will enable participants to learn about the different reporting tools available. Focus will be on scripting and columnar reports, explaining different sections in the script which are used to interact with the program, SQL Script and SQL server DB. These sections determine the look of the report and filters the records based on searches.

Notification and E-mail Template

This session is about learning how to create custom email templates and notification criteria to trigger automatic emails and notify users such as property managers, finance users, etc. Notifications can also be triggered for external parties including tenants and vendors.

Custom Financial Analytics

Through this session, the participants will be able to create a template to define column headers, input data and subsequently generate a Custom Financial Analytics report from the new template.

Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting – Overview, Word Templates and Contract Printing

This session will help participants develop customer facing reports using Word templates. A few examples of these reports include contracts, invoices, reminder letters, etc. The session will also cover some set ups such as emailing reports/letters to internal and external stakeholders.

Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting – Excel Templates and Advanced Setup

In this session participants will learn to use Excel templates in YSR. This enables you to use Excel functionalities to get charts, pivots from the data displayed in the report and learn to customize standard analytical reports through YSR.
